It depends on what you going to use it for.

If that is the price: 279 then I would say its a good deal.
Personaly I am not a big fan of decockers, but it should be real good at drilling 9mm holes. |

The Sig P225 is an excellent firearm, as well as are all of the Sigs. The P225 is IMHO one of the best of the Sigs. Excellent ergonomics, easy to hold, fits most normal sized palms well, and excellent reliability as well as all of the Sigs. I had one a few years back, sold it, and have regretted it since. I'm considering getting one of the German Police P6s as well.
Check http://www.aimsurplus.com/. $269.95 with 2 mags, plus extra mags for $17.95. I have ordered from them in the past, and they are reliable, reasonable shipping charge, and quick to ship. |

Good gun... not much capacity. could be used as a backup, throwdown or a lend-a-gun.

I have only done that once, I bought a used glock 19 and a dealer in my area charged me $20 to transfer it. I just went in and filled out the form that I normally have to fill out when buying a gun from a dealer, and gave him twenty bucks. He called in the instant background check (or whatever it is they do) and I left with the glock. Also, you can get an 03 FFL for ~$50. That way you can buy guns that are considered Curios and Relics and have them shipped to your door. Mostly that means any gun over 50 years old, and some military surplus guns that are designated C&R eligible. |

....and the c&r guns are going up in price...I dropped my c&r last spring. Decided I was better off trolling the classifieds-bad economy and all...

I order a rifle from Kentucky............have it shipped to my local gun shop in Texas (rifle's already paid for over the phone)..........and then pay a $30 Fee along with paperwork to pick up my new gun. :rolleyes_m: |
Re: Is this a good weapon ? SIG P6 225 - 9mm
This looks like a police turn in. It's probably been carried quite a lot as well as had a BUNCH of rounds fired through it. Is a Sig Sauer 225 a good gun? Absolutley with out question. Is the gun from centerfiresystems a good gun? I don't know, I'd have to say that for 279 you'd be getting a HEAVILY used firearm in questionable condition - personally I'd pass. Good luck.

If it says Sig on it then yes, it's a good weapon.
